It is most commonly seen on Tyler, Perlick and Randell units. Although Delfield uses a gasket identical to this profile, for Delfield we recommend using item = 6449. The gasket may be screwed, stapled or glued on. Gaskets should be mounted around the door pan or with gasket mounting strips. If the gasket has been glued or stapled, we recommend using screws and mounting strips. For a good fit, measure the height & width of the door pan or the height & width from the outside corner to the outside corner of the gasket. Perlick units have a plastic door pan. Do not over tighten the screws when mounting the gasket or the door pan will crack.
